You Belong in the UT Dallas MBA Program

We are stronger together.
The UT Dallas MBA Program is in the heart of a vibrant, global business economy. Therefore, our students must graduate with the tools necessary to operate in multifaceted settings and learn to harness the power of diversity in their business acumen. These tools are part of the curriculum; the program’s environment is a hands-on training ground for developing these skills.
MBA Residency Day
MBA Residency Day is a full-day, on-campus event held on a Saturday during the Spring semester for Professional MBA students. Starting with students admitted in Spring 2026, it will be a mandatory requirement that can be completed at any point during the program, with a recommendation to attend halfway through. The event is offered once a year. For students admitted before Spring 2026, attendance is optional but highly encouraged.
The day includes sessions on leadership, executive presence, career strategy, and personal branding. Students will also have time to connect with peers, alumni, and industry professionals to expand their networks and gain career insights. The event is designed to help students make lifetime connections with others in the UT Dallas community and design, confirm, or move forward their career strategy, ensuring they maximize their MBA experience and long-term professional success.

An important takeaway from an MBA experience is that there is no one correct answer to a business decision – it depends. As such, to make a business decision, diversity of thought, i.e., arguments from varied perspectives will lead to a more informed and better decision.
